Pageflakes
is your personalized homepage on the Web. Your favorite news, weather, sports,
entertainment, photos, videos, music, email and much more – all on one page
that you can access from anywhere. What's more, you can collaborate on your
page with your friends, or publish it to the entire world.
Pageflakes
is the easy and fun way to customize the Internet and make it yours! Until now you had to go to different web sites
to check your email, start Web searches, get weather information and so forth.
With Pageflakes, you can put all the things that you like on the Web on one
page. Moreover, you can use Pageflakes to share stuff with friends and to meet
new people who share your interests. Best of all, Pageflakes is free!
"Pagecasts"
are pages which users share with other users. There are two types of Pagecasts:
Group Pagecasts are pages that are shared between friends or the members of a
group and that can be viewed by invited members only. Public Pagecasts are
pages which users have published to the entire world.
Pageflakes is completely free.
No, but we
highly recommend that you do it so that all your settings are saved permanently
and so that you can access your personalized homepage from any computer. Signup
is free and takes less than 30 seconds.
Based on
your interests and your location we've automatically personalized your page
with Flakes that you may like. Like a Flake? Keep it. Don't like a Flake?
Remove it by clicking on the little "x" in the top right corner of
the Flake. Want to add more things? Click on the big round Pageflakes button at the top right of the screen.
Those
little boxes on your screen are called "Flakes". A Flake can contain
weather information, news, photos, videos – even interactive tools like a
calendar and a to-do list – and just about anything else you do on the Web at
school, work and at home.
Click on
the big round Pageflakes button at the top right to choose from the most
popular Flakes. To find more Flakes in categories like news, entertainment or
sports, click "Browse Flakes". For even more Flakes, go to the full Flake Gallery in our Community Site.
Simply
left-click on the header bar of a Flake, keep the mouse button down and drag
the module along the screen. Release the mouse button to drop the Flake at its
new position. Try it, it works just like on your Windows or Mac desktop!
Just click
on the little "x" icon at the top right corner of the Flake that you
want to remove.
